You can help us in lots of ways!
As a volunteer you can take part in the range of special events during the year, with lots of opportunity for dressing up and improved acting. Our visitors love seeing our volunteers in costume, taking the role of a character from the time of Robert Burns. You don’t have to dress up though, because there a lots of other things that need to be done!
We need volunteers to run the Monument Garden Shop. Full training is given, and it’s a lovely place to spend some time.
Our 8 seater electric buggy takes visitors up and down the Poet’s Path between the cottage and the museum. All our drivers are volunteers, so if you fancy driving our buggy and telling our visitors all about the site, full training is given.
