  • Flowers: Racemes of greenish or reddish flowers appear in Summer

Dying Properties

  • Colour: Young and green stems and leaves: yellow green; Dried stems and seeds: tan brown. With Iron mordant: dark grey
  • Parts used/Foraging Season: Dried Seeds, leaves & stems: Late Summer
